OK FOLKS TIME TO LEARN

“Neon” lights are actually not all made of neon. They’re tubes in which gases such as Neon or Argon glow (through magic! Or science. Look it up)

Anyway. Neon glows orangey red. Whatever is in this sign proclaiming “neon” is probably actually Carbon Dioxide (which glows white) and maybe a little mercury (blue).

And that, kids, is what we call irony
